Zack Brown scores first win in Ferrari Challenge for Scottsdale Ferrari and Della Penna Mototsports in Montreal. After qualifying a strong second only thousandths from the pole, Zak Brown jumped into the lead from the start and led the field for the remainder for the race, clenching the win in front on 150,000 people. It was Scottsdale Ferrari/Della Penna Motorsports’ first win in the series and was particularly special for Brown as he has many friends in F1 and many of the McLaren guys came over to congratulate him on the podium. “ This win really means a lot to us. I am Indy Crash Fest The Richmond track is a driver’s track and that means you have to manhandle the car in all conditions to do well, which means cold tires, long runs, restarts etc. Most of the ovals that IRL goes to are much over a mile and a quarter which makes them much faster, they are usually flat out or close to it, but Richmond is the opposite.
